Cassie Tam, MSc., RSLP, SLP(C)

Founder & Speech-Language Pathologist

​ Cassie received her Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Alberta. She is registered with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia and certified with Speech-Language & Audiology Canada. 

​ Cassie has experience working with children 0-18 in a variety of settings including public health units, child development center, schools, and private practice.  Cassie believes in family-centered practice and therapy that is fun, interactive, and meaningful to the child and the family.  Her main interests include autism spectrum disorder, language and speech disorders, childhood apraxia of speech and stuttering.

Speech-language pathologists can help with (SAC-OAC): - Speech delays and disorders including articulation, phonology and motor speech disorders. - Language delays and disorders, including expression and comprehension in oral and non-verbal contexts - Fluency disorders, including stuttering. - Voice and resonance disorders. - Swallowing and feeding disorders in adults, children and infants. - Cognitive-communicative disorders including social communication skills, reasoning, problem solving and executive functions. - Pre-literacy and literacy skills including phonological awareness, decoding, reading comprehension and writing. - Communication and swallowing disorders related to other issues. For example, hearing impairments, traumatic brain injury, dementia, developmental, intellectual or genetic disorders and neurological impairments.
